Dr. Ramona Neunuebel

The Neunuebel group investigates the molecular mechanisms that enable the bacterium Legionella pneumophila to survive and replicate in amoebae and human macrophages. During the summer, Dr. Neunuebel and the graduate and undergraduate students in her group, provide local high school students from the UBMS Program with hands-on research experience in her lab. This work is funded by Dr. Neunuebel's NSF CAREER award.
