Updated Covid19 related research rules/procedures from 8/26/20 orientation for new BISC graduate students/staff.
All BISC equipment rooms allow for only ONE person to be in the room at a time. Thus, all common use equipment in biological sciences MUST be reserved in advance to facilitate social distancing. Some equipment is scheduled by "room" as all of the equipment requires in person interaction so only one person can work at a time to ensure social distancing. Other equipment is scheduled by "piece" when the user only interacts with the equipment in person for brief periods. In other cases, equipment may be in a room that has freezers or other short access devices. Please cooperate as much as possible to let everyone work most efficiently. The slide deck presented at the phase I town hall held on June 1 can be found here for reference.
Please remember that you are REQUIRED to fill out the Daily Health Questionaire EVERY time you come on campus for any reason. If you are working in core facilities located in other UD buildings, this questionnaire will cover those as well, but you should check with the location to see if there is any site specific guidance. See DBI COVID-19 Response for the access information for bioimaging/DBI resources.
