Biology Research Day is a celebration of research conducted by students and faculty across laboratories at the Newark campus, Nemours Children's Hospital and Christiana Hospital. The event brings together students from the department's interdisciplinary graduate program, as well as undergraduate students pursuing research opportunities. Students will have the opportunity to network and present their scientific research through flash talks and poster sessions. The day will close with an awards ceremony to recognize top student researchers.
Last year more than 170 faculty and students within the department attended and shared their research on topics ranging from fertilization mechanisms to brain cancer. Additional topics are expected to be added at this year's event.
The deadline for students to submit presentation proposals is Monday, Dec. 11. All attendees, including faculty, must register to attend the event, using the Biology Research Day registration form.
